In 1973, three friends decided to dress like mountain men and ride horseback from Arizona to Canada… just for the adventure. They made their own buckskin clothes and learned to shoot black powder rifles. The only modern thing they took was a camera.

Two of the three guys met up in Phoenix recently and I was able to catch up with them to tell their story.
